What's New at the Gwynne?

Bluebirds returning to the Gwynne Conservation Area this spring will find a nice surprise – new and improved nest boxes! The Gwynne has 20 nest boxes available for bluebirds, tree swallows, chickadees, and house wrens looking for a home.

Those familiar with the Gwynne Conservation Area will notice that a pine plantation has been removed due to health issues.  In its place is the beginning of a new demonstration on Christmas tree farming!  A 7 year plan is in place so that more trees will be planted each year to allow for a crop to be ready for harvest.
